Global Premium Cigars will be launching new packaging for the 1502 brand. It features cabinet-style boxes, along with refillable, branded individual cigar cardboard boxes inside.
The new cigar boxes are aimed at occupying less space in retailers’ humidors.
To begin, GPC is releasing the new packaging for the 1502 Blended Selection (Robusto and Toro vitolas), Nicaraguan Puro Selection (Robusto, Toro and Churchill vitolas), and Aniversario 10 Blend (Toro vitola). The 1502 XO superpremium line-up will not be transitioning to the cabinet format.
The remainder of the portfolio is set to transition by early 2026.
Also, separate, 20-count “magazines” will also be produced and made available for the individual cigars inside the branded cardboard boxes, a less expensive refill option for the 1502 cabinet boxes.
