Cavalier Genève Cigars will release a new line, Project Broadleaf, at the Premium Cigar Association trade show this week.
Project Broadleaf will be released in four unique releases per year due to the challenges of sourcing Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. Each will feature a distinct size and blend variation centered around the CT broadleaf wrapper.
The first installment, the Skywalker, will be a 6 x 48 Parejo ($15.60), which will come in 50-count cabinets with production limited to 100 boxes. Seventy-five of these boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at PCA.
The Project Broadleaf Skywalker, which features San Andrés binder and Jalapa, Estelí, and Jamastrán fillers, will ship immediately after PCA.
The second installment, Boartamer ($14.60), will be presented in 10-count metallic foil bundles. A total of 500 bundles will be made available globally, with pre-orders opening at PCA. Shipping is expected between early and mid-June.
Project Broadleaf Boartamer features Habano Jalapa binder and Jalapa, Estelí, Ometepe, and Jamastrán fillers.
Alongside Project Broadleaf, Cavalier Genève Cigars will also unveil a pre-release version of the LE2025 at PCA, with pre-orders opening during the show.
The LE2025 will be available in a single size: 6 ¼ x 50 Parejo ($16.70), featuring a closed foot and pigtail cap. As with the previous years’ Cavalier Limited Editions, the blend remains undisclosed and will never be re-released.
It will ship in July.
