Bentley Tobacco and Jonathan Carney of Bentley Tobacco | USA is teaming up to use artificial intelligence to produce a cigar.
Central to the project is a survey designed to capture the preferences of participants. The survey includes size and tobacco origins, flavor profiles and branding aesthetics.
All data collected will be analyzed by an AI process developed by Carney and Bentley Tobacco.
The project’s submission window is open now for 90 days.
“The AI Cigar Project is more than just a new product,” Carney said in a press release. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate the evolving tastes of cigar enthusiasts everywhere and an exciting leap forward for the industry. By uniting tradition and technology, we’re poised to craft something truly remarkable.”
The cigars from the project will be showcased at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Show in New Orleans.
